Cécile Lacharme’s debut album Dérives brings together nine tracks for cello and electronic textures. It is music of melodic lines, sensitive sound matter and inner movement, shaped as an intimate and cinematic crossing.

For her first solo creation, composer and cellist Cécile Lacharme takes us on an instrumental journey into the heart of imagination. With only her cello and pedalboard as travel companions, she leads us through diverse landscapes, inspired by both classical and contemporary influences.
Her music, composed of loops, layers, and swirls, summons a narrative and evocative power that speaks to the soul and the heart.
Since 2022, Cécile has been working on the creation of an immersive show with Nantes-based sound engineer Bastien Raute. Thanks to a 360° sound system, the audience is enveloped by the sound of the cello and its sonic textures, allowing them to experience an exceptional auditory and musical journey.
This sound creation is enhanced by the lighting work of engineer Philippe Arbert.
